HISTORY OF CHLORELLA
Chlorella is a single-cell fresh water algae that existed even before mankind. It was discovered in 1890 by a Dutch microbiologist, Martinus Beijernick. Being about the same in size as a human red blood cell, Chlorella has an inherent strength of life through its unchanging genetic structure with its high nutritions contents and its astonishing growth rate.
NUTRITIVE CONTENT
4Spectrum™ Premium Chlorella is a storehouse of rich nutrients - chlorophyll, CGF, vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates.
It has over 60% protein with essential amino acids, and provides vitamin A, Beta-carotene, vitamins B, C, E and K. Its minerals include calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and trace amounts of manganese, iodine and zinc.

C.G.F. is obtained by hydrothermally extracting premium quality chlorella, and found richly in nucleic acids of RNA/DNA.

Its vital functions have been reported** such as immunity enhancement, inhibition of cancer cell growth, holddown of virus increment, protection of hypertension, improvement of hepatic function, lowering blood sugar levels, cell renewal and many physiological functions.

Chlorella Production Process

Yaeyama Chlorella Cultivation Method (Patent No.3277372) was registered for patent by the Japan Patent Office on February 15, 2002.
Yaeyama Factory has developed and established their manufacturing technologies to let their outdoor sunray cultivation system boost up the contents of photosynthetic pigment (= Chlorophyll, carotenoid etc.) in the higher grade of their Chlorella products throughout the year. 1. 4Spectrum™ Premium Chlorella and Taiwan-made Chlorella (A) and (B) are all cultivated outdoors.
Some contaminants (bacteria, other alga) are found in powdered Taiwn-made chlorella (A) and (B), which discloses that there are some problems in their control inspection and insufficient washing of chlorella algae.
2. Mineral foreign objects observed in Taiwan-made Chlorella (A) are very small lithoid matter or brown particles.
3. Filamentous foreign objects observed in Taiwan-made Chlorella (B) are supposedly generated in its drying process.
4. These foreign substances can be observed on the surface of tabletized Taiwan-made chlorella, though most of them are buried inside and cannot be seen from outside.

It is processed into 4Spectrum™ Premium Chlorella powder, tablets and extract liquid under rigid QC and sanitation standards with no foreign object, bacteria and other algae observed. It contains richly protein, vitamins, minerals, chlorophyll and chlorella extract. Particularly, higher content of chlorophyll and chlorella extract is vitally characteristic of 4Spectrum™ Premium Chlorella.

It is well known that volatile basic nitrogen compounds such as ammonia and amine are usually generated by festering fish and meat.
These basic nitrogen compounds are considered to breed foul and uncomfortable odor and taste of Chlorella.
The above figures are obtained by the same method that these volatile basic nitrogen compounds are usually measured by.
As shown in the above column, 4Spectrum™ Premium Chlorella gives a much lower figure in the test result than Tank Cultivated Chlorella.
