What is Kelp?

Kelp is a type of green brown colored seaweed that grows along the ocean shores that can be eaten raw, but it is usually dried and ground into a powder. It is available here in a capsule form. It is rich in natural iodine, for thyroid support.

What are the major Kelp Health Benefits?

Kelp is high in iodine, potassium, calcium, and other minerals as well as vitamins, especially the B vitamins. The B vitamins among its many functions are well renowned for their ability to combat stress and increase energy levels.

Traditionally, kelp was used to prevent goiter and other thyroid disorders in areas where the soil lacked iodine. Kelp has been used by homeopathic physicians and other like minded professionals for the following:

• Obesity
•Thyroid problems
• Poor digestion
• Flatulence
• Protection against radiation
• Obstinate constipation

Some expert's claim that kelp is reported to be very beneficial to brain tissue, the membranes surrounding the brain, the sensory nerves, and the spinal cord.
